I've gone from a shoot anything with antlers hunter, to a shoot anything that's 2 1/2+ hunter, to a shoot anything that's 3 1/2+ hunter, to a borderline mature buck/trophy hunter. But now I think I'm turning into Bowriter and regressing.  After some long, hard evaluation of why I hunt and what I enjoy, I may just go back to shooting whatever makes me happy. I can't imagine ever knowingly shooting a yearling buck, but everything else is fair game, depending upon how I feel that day!
I completely and totally agree with that but like this past season when I killed the 2.5 9point, I still think about man what would he have been this season and I think that for me is the biggest reason why I stopped shooting young bucks cause I want to see what they will be, if you kill em their dead end of story!
