both in same county and even in a unit A there are only so many deer that can be taken off any property and some just don't understand that they will be standing there going " i dont know what happened TWRA said i could take all these deer, there must be something else wrong, it can't be because i killed so many "

You can only kill 3 bucks in unit A. And I believe the limit of does is 4 per archery, and 4 per ML season, correct?

yes but don't you think that if a group of guys went in there and killed a bunch of deer that it would eventually knock the population back enough that deer sightings would be way down and if the neighbors killed many at all it would just get worse not to mention that if they are killing yearlings chances at mature deer would be almost impossible

i've seen it with my own eyes and have heard hunters say " man this place use to be good but i don't know what happened " i wanted to tell them what the problem was but i held my tongue cause you can't fix stupid therefor it would have done me no good and would have been a waste of my time

If you're asking, "would I rather hunt well managed land vs non-managed land," then the answer is easy. Obviously the well managed land. I don't understand why anybody would choose A other than to be stubborn and try to disprove what you're trying to prove.

I really wouldn't want to hunt either. I'm not interested in "shoot anything and everything" hunting and I don't want to hunt "mature buck only" property either, especially since the property is only 200 acres.

You would get kicked off that lease the first year! \:D

Good question. Id say B but that's because I enjoy that type of hunting.
I will say that the personalities of the guys on the lease would be important to me. Ive seen people that take deer hunting so seriously they cant enjoy it.

only used 200 acres as example my mistake should have said that the properties were equal in size and let you plug in whatever amount you wanted

Whether it be 200 or 200,000 ,the percentage of hunters that would pick A would be a laughable small amount.
But then again those hunters that would pick A wouldnt have much computition as they would pretty much have it by themshelves, which might persaude me to choose A part of the time anyway.LOL

Yep, I know that situation all too well. I hunt it all the time. But still manage a decent buck every now and again on my property, which, btw, yields only 1-2 bucks per season on a good year. Buttons, spikes, 4pts, and sixers get a pass on it too, but not from the neighbors. ;\)
