THe horn on the left was found last year, and the horn on the right was found yesterday..While I don't thnk they are off the same deer at the same time,im thnking both horns might be from the same deer just 1 year apart. The horn on the left was found this time last year, and the horn on the right was found yesterday.About 1/2 miles apart. The pedicals are differ sizes, the one of the right is bigger than the one on the left, which makes me believe that it could be the same deer from last year just had a bigger pedical, but wouldn't it have grown more? Or do you think the antler I found yesterday is from last year? The tips was busted a little, but in overall good shape, could it have survived a whole year?? What about the differ size pedicals, could a deer have 2 differ size pedicals?

Impossible to say IMO with such typical characteristics, sure it is possible, but there is no way to tell. Differences in food sources etc can cause the same aged deer to look bigger one year from the next.

I'm not sure, but I would guess it would be a rare occurence for an antler to make it a whole year without some major rodent damage.

Hard to tell bud, but those aren't horns. Those r antlers. Horns don't fall off.

antlers can last a whole year without any damage, i found a perfect right side to a 5 1/2 year old buck nearly a year after getting pictures of him.
