Science, data, research, and biology is all well and good, but
real life deer hunting advice for me, is the best. I know
bowriter has both, but his "real life" experience (that he
shares) is invaluable. The tracking post is a very good example.

BSK's advice and knowledge is very valuable too, so I want to
thank both of them for "sharing" their knowledge.

Many hunters know alot, but I think TNDeer is lucky to have both
of these individuals.

Wipe your nose off!! lol just razzin ya
Its the entire list of members that makes this place what it is, take away enough of any group and you lose the full circle effect IMO! Listening and learning is a great thing, but many times people try to do what other people have told them, instead of figuring things out for themselves and what actually works for them. Many times this will be much different than what works for Joe or Bob!

I hope the information I provide is of use.

That's why I provide it.

surely........ \:D

Wait, I'm trying to remember the number of times in the last few years that I have read threads exactly like yours.

Many, many people on this site contribute valuable information and thusly should be added to this list but rarely are. I think it would be safer to say that tndeer.com is the reason that we come here and not info from a couple of people.

Not bashing these two people, just trying to not forget about the others here that contribute good stuff even if it's just an idea or a single thought.......... ;\)

Thanks Brian,...I am not a statistician in any form...But I do appreciate you, as well as bowriter taking your time to share the fruits of you alls labor and experiance....The fact is that you and bowriter, either are, or have been, involved in the study or pursuit of deer in a capcity that is a step beyond the majority of most serious recreation hunters...
Not the answers to all the mysterys by no means, but important insight to peices of a puzzle that each of us here enjoy trying to put togeather in our own way and circumstances. As is much of the information and experiances of many of the members here......

The thing is, we all have something to contribute. But when we start to argue, we lose the value of the information. We learn from experience and to some degree from our education. By far the most valuable information is from experience. And all of us have had experiences.

What must always be kept in mind, in the study of wildlife or the hunting of wildlife is...there are no absolutes. Each time we go in the field, we see something different. That is why it such a fascinating life. You take the little pieces that fit your situation and you use them however you can. If I have contributed, I am thankfull of that.

It has been a great 50 years.
