I ran across an article the other day that really got my blood boiling. In my opinion, it was one of the most negative portrayals of hunting that I have seen. Funny thing is, the article was actually well written, unsensationalized, and (apparently) factually correct. Here's my take on the article with relevant links. http://www.pursuithunting.com/2010/03/harvesting-deer.html

I won't pass judgment on the people shooting or the farmer's either. I will, however, say that in no way, shape, or form is this any kind of "hunting". Shooting a pre-determined deer isn't "hunting" no matter how you slice it.

Very good article sir. I saw a show on TV a few months ago where the host was bragging about killing more 200" bucks than most people will ever see. The entire show was sickening to watch because it was all high fence.

Shooting a pre-determined deer isn't "hunting" no matter how you slice it. i dont think you worded that quite rite, many a hunter now looks at game camera's & selects what to shoot by that ,now, couple that with a pen & your spot on,not hunting to me either & no record should be set by that type of shooting,mike243
