There is very little new in the hunting industry. There are few topics that have not been disected and examined. There are, as far as I can see, no new opinions. Not a single new product is worthy of mention. There is nothing about deer hunting that is serious or needs serious discussion. There is nothing serious about killing a deer.
It has been my living for many years and not once have I taken it seriously.
Just my opinion.

And Scrooge tried to ruin Christmas..bah hum bug.....It could be over for you..all in what you make of it..but if that is the case, seriously understand that for many...
It's a brand new frost that crackles when you take the next step...it's a first for many to see a buck....
Having your first whiskers so you can or won't shave like dad and then have your breath freeze on 'em...telling all your buddies what happened on the days hunt and taking the long way home when you are successful.
It's "our" fantasy and no one else has the right to rain on it...serious forum be dammed. I told my young sons about deer hunting with a magazine on my lap as their eyelids would falter and one eyelid would stay up or down longer than the other as they tried their best not to fall asleep so they wouldn't miss a single word I read...I do the same with my grandkids.
You may look at it as a "hunting industry" and well, as I've said before about you and BSK...I don't want your jobs..I want to be excited on Christmas morning when I open the presents without having someone tell me there is no Santa Claus and show me a graph and a chart to prove it.
Deer hunting is in the mind of the deer hunter....When you burn out on it...move on and make it a clean cut...without taking the excitement with you.

Great post , Coach. I got excited to hunt for a second. Kinda day dream about being in a tree bowhunting this time of year. I enjoy it bigtime.
I walked away from playing music before it made me bitter towards it. Remember the call like yesterday. Was asked to fly out and play with backline provided. Any drum set I wanted would be there ready. All the perks of being a musician Provided. I said I was going to pass, it was opening weekend of bow season and I was going hunting. Passed on a great paying gig to do something that cost me money. NO regrets, I love it!
