I always try to hunt near some sort of food souce on one of the properties that I hunt. The other is mainly a funnel so I just try to find a likely spot and hunt it.

Don't forget the water holes in early season especially when its hot.
I have this one spot that I hunt in early season if its above 85F. Its a creek crossing from a flat into the ridges. This ole spot has paid off on several evenings.
