I'd have to say that my main reason is persistence. I go every chance I get. Other than that, just playing the wind and being there at the right time and place.
And even with that, sometimes you just come up empty. Or I do anyway.

Good teachers in my youth,.. never stopped learning about the woodsmanship skills as a adult,.. management techniques,.. and most of all,........... alittle luck.
