Does anyone know what the deer and turkey hunting is like in Overeton County, North of Monterey. Thanks

I have a lease there,not great would be my opinion,hogs have overun the Allred area I hunt,could be better else where,but we see few deer.I only keep thew lease to trail ride and goof off,truth be told,might hunt it once or twice a year.

Low deer density, hog infested, but if you can spend alot of time hunting it could pay off for ya. Big if though.

All depends on the area. Some say low deer density but heck theres twice as many deer there in Overton as in my county. Generally speaking the East part of the county is the worst for hunting. The closer to the lake the better.

Mostly hilly and heavily wood in the areas I have hunted. Seen some big deer come out of the area near Standing Stone SP.
