I recently bought a Leupold Vari-XIIc 3x9x40. , but just curiuos if anyone knows what the "C" might stand for i cant find it online

something to do with windage and elevation changes made back in 1984. I googled it but can't seem to get the link put in this post correctly. Just google Leupold varixiic? and it will pop up. It's on a http://www.24hourcampfire.com forum.

I think the "c" stands for clicks instead of friction adjustments.
