Same here. Good in the winter time when the trees are bare, but almost non-existent during Summer and early Fall. \:\(

The little cheap backtrack unit is great for simplicity and size when simply marking locations.

Cool info, always prided myself on not needing one, still dont think I do,but if I join a big lease, like Im planning, may help the first year.

I use mine for WMA's. I can do more scouting in 1 trip with it, than 10 trips without it. (with a good topo of course)

So true, It made my Fort Campbell trips so much better!

The garmin 60cs or csx with the quad helix antenna and high sensitivity reciever is great. I personally don't own one but have used one on occassion and it's amazing compared to my garmin rhino.

thanks, I'll check it out......

IMO, there's nothing better than to plot your stands or future stand sites on an aerial photo. The days of wondering what's "OVER THERE" and looking at an aerial and thinking..."now is my stand right here or maybe right here...hmmm?" are over and I'm dang glad of it....

I'm going to try and get set up to plot my own aerial maps for future info...should be a great off season project....

thanks again
