I killed an old doe one year while I was walking. She was in a thicket and thought I couldnt see her. I knew if I stopped she would run but I kept my pace up raised my gun and waiting for an opening to the vitals...took about 3 steps but I got it and touched one off. I never broke stride and she was only 15 yards away.

I wonder how many I have passed up that I didnt see that close.
