What attractant do you use that is legal to hunt over? What attractants have you used that have really worked well and which ones have you used that didn't work at all?

i have 1 trophy rock lick that was put out mainly for trail cam pics. there is a ladderstand nearby but it would be there trophy rock or not. as for one that didn't work- the deer cocaine, not only did they not use it, they completely abandoned the trail it was near.

X2 trophy rock is the best thing i've ever used and the cocaine was the worst by far for me

I'm surprised cocaine didn't work for you two. It's all I use, and I kill deer with a bow off my two licks every year. One of the holes the deer have created is big enough to put a truck hood in. That's weird.

I agree on the deer cane, except for one place, man they tore it up there, other than that ,zero on the deer cane.

Mossy Oak Biologic and Imperial Whitetail Clover. I've put out salt blocks and cocaine but never hunted over them.

I have used deer cocaine several times in the past, but not in a few years. One thing that I did noticed was that it wasnt that year they hit it, but the next year. I used to have a video of some deer that I filmed one summer in one of our food plots...and they had dug a hole down to where all you could see were their butts pokin up outta the ground. They were literally vertical. They had dug that thing down and I couldnt figure out why. Then I remembered my dad had put some cocaine there the year before...for some reason? But we had plowed, disked, and planted over it (food plot was established), and the deer had found it from the year before. They dug it down probably mid-thigh deep. The were getting on their hind legs and fighting each other to get in the hole...VERY cool deer behavior to observe!

Winter wheat, winter rye and clover food plots, i use the trophy rock as well but I don't hunt over salt licks, just because I've never had any luck with that.

Nice spin, the title of this thread and what I took it for, was what I hunted over, in terms of food. Not weapons used.

I don't use attractants for hunting. I use Trophy Rocks for getting summer-time trail-camera pictures.
