I got my salt out before the middle of the summer finially! So now the darn cows and squirrels are hammering it. Whats one to do? I got a pic of two deer thats all. I am not worried too much about the squirrels I am fixing to wage war on them treerats. But the cows are a different matter, would giving them a seperate salt lick help?

I have heard somewhere that the deer like the salt and its the only property I have to hunt so I have to deal with it i suppose.

just fence in the area you put the salt in doesn't have to be a big area the deer will get to it and the cows can't works for me my dad and i have had cows ever since i can remember and it's no problem

I'm sorry, but growing up farming cows all my life I have to laugh at this one! There's no way you'll ever have a salt lick for deer with cows on the property. You'll have to put it somewhere the cows can't get to.
