i'm cool with deer regs. i don't wanna bash twra for anything they do a better job than i could ever wanna do. saying that i would love to see some other way to help with the pigs around here. i think they are getting out of control i just don't know if there is really anything you can do to "control the numbers" other than trapping

BGG... With the changes coming to Unit B doe permits:
Will the agency alternate the days the permits from county to county will be issued? ex: Hawkins 12/17-12/24 Sullivan 12/10-12/17

Or will all tyhe doe permits fall within the same 7 day period as 2008-2009 season?

I found it very hard to fill the tags in a couple different counties during the same 7 day period.

THANKS!

We won't know the details for a few months but the counties that open up antlerless gun hunting will select what days they want. I don't believe they'll be intertwined so as to maximize days among counties.

No...the regulations will not be passed by the Commission until May. Considering how well the first-come-first-served permits went out last year, we believe this will be a welcomed change.

That sounds real good. I tried to find stats online to see how the harvest compared to the actual permits issued last year. Mostly for my surrounding counties.
I think Hawkins did pretty well. I also hunt Sullivan and Greene.

BGG,is the doe days going to be only for the counties that have had antlerless quota hunts in the past? Or will other Unit B and A counties that doesn't usually have a antlerless quota hunt be opened up to hunt them?
