I was wondering who has been doing any scouting the last few weeks. I'm going to scout and hang a couple stands this weekend. Going to be a good weekend to be in the woods.

I did some today,took my rachet straps off of my stands and moved 1, and brought one home with me,gonna put it on another place i hunt. Hope to do that in the next couple of days.

Yes, coincidentally while grouse hunting. I grouse hunt some the same areas I deer hunt, so I get a chance to get in the really thick bedding stuff I stay out of during deer season and see how the deer moved in and out and where they were headed.

Im wanting to get back in the woods but Im still trying to catch up at work and home on things I let slide during season.

I have been out 3 times. Two of which were after snows. This has been on the public ground I hunt in KY. Ive learned a lot from these excursions. You can really pic up on patterns this time of year.
