I ask this question on another thread yesterday
And 3 folks responded 2 no and 1 yes.

If given the opportunity to kill 3 trophy bucks
Whatever that is to you in 1 Tn deer season would
You do it? Why or why not?

I will say up front that its not a goal of mine to
Do this but I can't say I wouldn't do it either.

If I went out and shot a nice 135 with a bow, then went out with a MZ and had a shot at a 140-150 , I would shoot it. If later, I went gun season and saw one eveb bigger, then yes I would.

I don't think that I would shoot a 130 if I had already killed a 150 THAT YEAR.

maybe let him grow until next year..haha

I'd have to say probably yes. A chance to kill three dandy bucks has never presented itself to me in 35 yrs of hunting. So, I believe if I had that chance, I would take it. It would be xtra nice if that chance brought one in each of the three seasons, Bow, ML, and one in Rifle. jmo, bash on.

I'm a hunter...If by chance I was able to have an opportunity to do so I would not say I wouldn't..I'd be lying...But I have never filled all my buck tags in years. I pass on a lot of bucks to allow them to become mature and big. So that I could one day have that dream season...

Not a goal, but rest assured if 3 of the right caliber came by, they all die. Let's say first is 120"-130" ish, second would have to be around 140"+, then for me to kill a third it would have to be in the 160"+ range.

So yes, I would kill 3, but it is unlikely that would come together in one season.

I won't want to shoot a deer that good and NOT mount it.....

With that being said, my wife may frown on a $900 plus taxidermist bill

just saying

yes...ive hunted enough to know that some seasons things fall in place ans some seasons they dont as much. Especially if you restrict your harvest.

My standards would go up though.

Prob PY for first two and 140+ for 3rd

Yes if I wanted to and I wouldn't even look at the rack. If I wanted to shoot three spikes, I would. Now whether or not I would want to is another thing. I can't ever remember shooting three bucks in one year and I have certainly had the opportunities. But if I wanted to, I sure would.
