Someone asked, why are they protected?I have no idea, just wondering.Never seen a true albino, but seen 7 or 8 piebalds.Just wondering why the TWRA would choose to protect them.

TWRA did not choose to protect them, the Tennessee Legislature did. I read that on here so correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct. TWRA opposed the legislation but it passed.

There a couple true albinos near Boone Lake in Piney Flats I know many people has seen these deer. They actually are seen together. They look unhealthy. They are small in size, and almost look like premature birth deer!

You know TN actually made it into a deer hunting mag one time, it wasn't for trophy bucks, management, etc. but for the top 5 states with the dumbest laws in affect! We were number 3 and it was because of this law. We can kill piebalds and solid white deer but we can't kill albinos! lol
