Good question. Don't think I haven't looked around for someone to blame it on. LOL
I believe that I may have gotten too picky and caught up in counting points and inches of horn. This may have been the first year that I have felt that shooting a mature buck would have been enough no matter the rack size. I had the opportunity but let it slip thru my fingers more than once. I wanted it all and got nothing. My fault, greed was the reason.

If you dont kill a buck, it's no ones fault but the hunter. I didnt kill one this year...it's no ones fault. It just didnt happen. If it's anyones fault, it's mine. This past year, I passed up well over 25 bucks...I just didnt see one I wanted to take. I mainly go for mature 4 1/2 and older bucks, but I will shoot a good 3 1/2 on most days...it just hadnt worked out for me. THATS HUNTING! It's certainly not anyone else's fault...dont see how it could be
