Whos fault is it that you didn't kill that big buck last year?a lot of people want to blame twra for how they manage the herd and for the results of thier hunt..Is it twra's fault of yours?I didn't kill that big buck last year.It was one of my worst years for buck sighting.Should I blame twra or myself? The year before was my best ever.Do I credit twra or myself?who do you guys blame for your lack of success
Edited by bsl (02/14/10 08:45 PM) Edit Reason: had to change wording.Think some people thought I was blaming twra.lol

Blame it on Mother Nature and yourself (not directed at you bsl).
I didnt get to spend as much time in the field and dont have allot of experience...my fault.
Mother Nature for a great mast crop and wary deer.

Sometimes it is "Luck". Other times it is "Skill". The big bucks are out there and if you spent enough time in the woods and had luck on your side and still did not kill a big'un it may just be fate and still not be anyones fault!!

Who's fault? Why would anybody blame someone for their success or failure. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another thread for bashing.

seems there are a lot on here that do.thats why I asked who they blame for thier lack of success.there are a hundred threads wanting twra to change rules to help them.If these guys put half the effort into learning how to hunt rather than trying to get rules changed they might be better off.

I don't think changing the rules will guarente anyone anything.

Personal responsibility is usually the answer. Those who blame others for thier lack of success on a regular basis, are usually the one's who fail..........on a regular basis.

I'm not bashing..I'm not even trashing...thrashing or any of the other things that sometimes may be promoted on some threads. I am however asking a question...well ok, maybe a few questions....
We have youngsters over in Iraq, we have prayer requests by the multitude for them..for health..for jobs, money and I can't even remember them all.
I walk out into the woods and I count my blessings..not just for the woods but that I could walk there. When I smell the pines and hear the birds singing I come real close to falling on my knees and thanking God...if my knees didn't hurt so much all the time I'd consider it more. When I see deer I feel blessed...
I read posts where hunters want to shoot those dang squirrels that bother them while on stand...or those noisy crows that caw while they are trying to..to...what..hear? I have to tell you that I love those sound...did you know that crows all over this world are exactly the same color? With no variations...they stick together through thick and thin...with their only animosity among family...them.
Maybe hear this...the woods, the ability to be out there, the smells, the all around joy of this sport...is it remotely possible that it's enough?
