How many of you guys and gals hunt solo or do you hunt with a buddy? I do both of course with my wife and one other buddy. We also take our grandkids during juvenal. But for me there are times I love to go solo. You know get right with yourself and etc....
I know exactly what you mean! I can tell you I wouldnt trade time in the field hunting with my daughter and buddys for anything! BUT.. that being said, seems like when I am out to myself, by myself, I can have a personal conversation and fellowship with the Lord. Seems like the hunting business picks up while I am hunting by myself too! Double-D I know those mountains you hunt in...I have spent lots of time by myself up there... LOST! LOL

Since it's a lease, almost always there's somebody there hunting. Sometimes 2 of us, other times 8-9 are there. I drive there by myself so I can come and go. I usually hunt with my dad, but he meets me there and usually doesn't hunt as long as I do. I guess you can say 2 people hunting on around 1200 acres is kinda like hunting by yourself.

i used to like to hunt solo but with the kids showing an interest and the hip issues i really enjoyed hunting with other people. i do enjoy the quiet solitude that hunting alone provides

I do both but seem to enjoy myself when I go solo. I don't have to worry if the other person is tired or, getting cold, or gretting hungry or, needs to go or most of all if they will break the rules.
I took a relative hunting once and he shot a Doe back when it was totally against the law. That was a frustrating day.
