its always me, dad, and lil bro but we all hunt solo.
i dont like going by myself. just dont feel right
ok. this got me wondering. by solo, do you mean in a stand alone with maybe somebody else in a stand somewhere else or nobody with you at all?

Solo hunt about 75% of the time.
Other times I hunt with browtines or seymour slayer. This year my nephew, buckslayer17, started deer hunting here, so he and I will hunt some too.

98% of the time I hunt alone, I have only two people I hunt with in the past 10yrs or so.
Both are random hunting guys..................

I used to take my son with me almost every time, but it doesn;t work out that much anymore, now that he has 3 kids and lives 40 miles away. This past season we hunted together maybe 4 times and last year only once.

Hunt mostly by myself. I like the peace and quite. Also don't want to have to wait on anyone. When I want to go I go. I don't want to have to worry about meeting at a certain time or being somewhere. If I want to stay in the stand 3 more hours I don't have to worry about anyone esle.
Now the down side to this is that you don't have anyone to share the hunt with and if you do have problems your just sol.
Last year I hunted more with people than I have in a long time. Will more than likely go back to hunting more by myself.

Depends on the type of hunting. Duck & Alligator always with a friend. Especially while gator hunting, that way I just have to outrun my friends! Deer and small game usually by my self for now. I hope to have some family and friends in the woods with me next year for deer season. I have a bet with a friend for $100 that I will kill a deer with a bow! So I go out and sink $800 into a bow set up for 2010 season. Man Am I going to show him LOL

Mostly hunt alone but the older I get the more my friend and I just sit in blind and just enjoy the day. Great conversations sitting in the blind.
