Well, in a sense, Unit A and L have to pay more for rifle doe tags.

But I do feel his pain BGG, it was awful back in the 90's when 2/3 of Alabama had the whole season to shoot does and we had 2-5 days and we were overrun with does.

Kudos to you guys though for getting us in Unit L before it was to late.

Agree but just do away with the type 94 and the special season quotas.

Im just thankful for the extra opportunities we got in UNIT B this ear. I enjoyed having an opportunity to hunt anytime this year instead of hunting a week, waiting a week,..etc.

I hope they change this first come first serve crap for the quota tags for does and turkeys. Go back to the computer drawing.

Uh..... "negative ghost rider"....

I hope and pray that never happens.

I let scrubs walk every year... I kill/eat (un intentionally) buttons. If I "suspect" an antlerless deer is a button, he walks.

Two yearlings come into range, one is significantly larger than the other, chances are good it's a button- he walks.

But like they say, Sh*%t happens...

I hunt very, very hard for a good buck or two every year, especially during peak rut. However, I am a predator and a meat eater first.

Just my two cents worth Joker...

I don't mean to start a flame war or anything. I have places to hunt in Loudon County only minutes from the house. I don't need to lease land 2 hrs. away to hunt. But to pay the same price as someone who hunts in Roane County who could stock the freezer during muzzleloader and we only get one antlerless tag? The math doesn't add up. Sorry if it's ruffling any feathers but I've complained for years about that. TWRA could increase the Doe tags in Unit B muzzleloader and I'd be happy.

Even if the deer numbers dont call for this?Im assuming thats why unit B has low doe oppurtunities, not because TWRA doesnt like you.

I guess I feel your pain on this unit B stuff, dont really get all worked up about does myself,but....to carry your arguement farther, wouldnt TWRA need to sell different fishing liscenses depending on what lake you fish in?Some have different limits for different fish.

There is nothing stopping you from hunting a county that has a larger limit on doe. There are PHA's in McMonn, Meigs, Roane, and others that are in easy driving distance for you.

We will no longer have special season quota hunts for deer or turkey. All of it will be regulated by days instead of number of permits.
