OK... this has been a rumor/search of mine for almost 2 years now.
First off... I have witnessed the quantity of deer near the Casinos in Tunica via police escort.
Explanation: family and I pulled over on side of the road after a night of gambling. It was about 5pm and there were a dozen or so deer in a field near the Horseshoe Casino (I usually see that many every time I go). Cop pulls up behind me (big ole' cornfed boy) and ask us what we're doing. "Sir, just wanted to show my parents the deer here with my binos" He says, "You wanna see a lot of deer? Follow me"
So we pull behind him and head near the Tunica River Park. He takes us on a dirt road and opens his window. He points over to the right in a large green field right off of the delta.
That single field had 90+ deer in it. They herded up and started running when we pulled up. Some small, some medium, and a few trophy bucks.
ANYWHO... everytime I go out to tunica I see at least a dozen deer, but if I go to that field there are at least 50 every single night!
Has anyone ever hunted these deer? Or know of HOW to hunt them?
I've even called the casinos and they can't tell me. The cop didnt' know either.
The rumor I heard was Tunica has some $10k hunt club they offer to high rollers. Personally I don't believe that.
ANYONE? As I'm writing this I thought "hey stupid, call the fish and game in tunica"

is there not some kind of web site that tells who owns the land? If so then you can find out who the land owner is and try to get the permission that way. If no one knows who owns the land then it sounds like you may have found yourself your own personal hunting club! Just kidding don't go and get into trouble.

I'm almost certain being that close to the casinos that they are the ones that own it.
One place has an old little house/shack on it that's all beat down. Also a large cement slab where a small casino called "treasure island" used to be. The sign for it's buried in the dirt.

I would be really trying to find out who owns the land and if I could get permission. I've had several places that I've found, all of which i got denied but it never hurts to ask! you never know you could land you next dream spot!
