I have tired about everything from the stove to the grill and check it as you go.... The one thing I have learned with deer is don't over cook it or it will end up dry and tough...

Is it safe to eat rare deer meat?? If it wasn't, my husband and kids would have died a long time ago. They like all their steaks very rare.
