Exactly right, these shows are no diffeent than any other show on TV and should be viewed as such. I definitely dont agree with a lot of what is said and done on these shows, but I wont blame them for giving people unrealistic expectations. If your going to blame the hunting shows then are we to also blame the strong man contestants when we hurt ourself trying to pull a traincar with our neck, or when our neck gets broken trying to jump 10 cars on our motorcycle, like the guy does on TV!!!!
You have to be smart enough to help yourself before anybody else can help you, laying blame on a tv show for false impressions and failures is foolish at best!
If you dont like them dont watch them, as they are just as full of BS as most any other show you watch on TV, and if your not smart enough to filter the BS you definitely shouldnt watch them!
