That's the best quote of the year. Can I use this at the bottom of my posts. \:D

One thing for sure it's the US govt that's paying for and running the Yellowstone wolf program so it would have to pay for it in any NATIOAL PARK. In a State Park the State govt would pay for it.

Wildcat is right. However the reintroduction of wolves is being reviewed. There are some who think it is not a great idea \:\)

Thats crazy why don't they let hunters take care of the problem. Seems cheaper to me.

Ask most from MT, ID and WY what they think of wolves. In some areas they have knocked the game population low enough that hunting is almost non-exsitant. Top that off with a breeding population that will soon create other packs, then those new packs have to go to a new hunting area, it will soon become an expanding problem.

Out west you have much more public land than you do out east. Wolves will quickly become a public nuisance out here. House pets would soon dissappear, livestock will be killed.

The only way to control the population is to hunt it and keep the wolves wary of livestock and human dwellings...A fence, hah, lets keep all the game in check, other than the birds and varmits, all wild game in that area would be fenced in.
