They propose ideas like this . . . . . . .
http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/sc...lation/19340244
Of course, the government re-estblishing the wolf costs hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer money.
On the other hand, hunters would pay the government for hunting privileges.
Go figure.

How did you get anything government out of this article?
It's about scientists wanting to use wolves to curb deer and elk populations.
Or maybe that's part of what YOU think it's about?

Wes, there is no explaining this kind of thinking. It is based in stupidity and founded on ignorance. It can't be explained.

How do you not get anything government out of this article. Who do you think is funding this whole operation? You think these are just freelance scientists that just decided to go turn a bunch of wolves loose? Crawl out of under your rock, dude!

How do you not get anything government out of this article. Who do you think is funding this whole operation? Exactly.
And like with most government projects, very costly financially compared to alternatives that involve less government.
In this case, instead of taxpayers paying for a wolf introduction and ONGOING wolf management program (using taxpayer dollars), hunters would gladly pay to hunt and simultaneously solve the problem.
Of course, then there's the unintended consequences of wolves preying on livestock, pets, and even humans ---- who's going to pay for this new liability? Of course, it's ultimately the tax-payer.
There were legitimate reasons why wolves were killed off in most of the U.S., as they don't co-habitate well with humans, and even places like Yellowstone are hardly large enough to prevent problems with wolves and people. I don't want wolves to become extinct, but sure don't want to see them re-introduced into any more new places.

We already have enough problems with coyotes, could you imagine if wolves were around here! The deer would be in serious trouble!
