That's a nice one!
I don't think its too early though. On Dec. 15 I shot a buck on an antler less only hunt at the Cheetem WMA several years ago. He had just lost his antlers. Game officer said he was likely a 6 or 8 point.
Since then my hunting partner and I are very cautious when taking does in the late season. Its always a good idea not to take a deer by itself when doe hunting this late. Usually, a doe will always be with other does and or fawns.
