I ve heard that Bowater may be turned over to the state next year and may sell permits again.
And the second thing is that Tennessee maybe passing a law allowing baiting. Just wondering if there is any truth to the rumors?

I live very close to a whole lot of bowater land, and I've not heard anything. In all the years I lived by it,they never would lease it out..It went easy 10 years without being leased, then just last year they decieded to start leaseing it back out again,It would be nice to be able to hunt it...Maybe someone else will have more info on it..As for baiting..I have no idea..But i wouldn't hold my breath especially since CWD has been found in VA.

Baiting will never pass in this state, at least I don't think as long as BGG as any say so in the matter.

TWRA had to lease the land from Bowater. When it was time to renew it they couldnt come to terms....at least thats what i was told.
