Doesn't really matter to me. But if I'm buying camo for my eye, I like Moth Wing the best. Second would be Realtree extra grey.

Of all the factors that have potential to benefit or harm our opportunity to kill a deer, I'd rate the pattern of the camo near the bottom of the list.

Of much greater importance is the type of fabric on which the camo pattern is printed. Pick the wrong material, and your have lessened your opportunity; pick the right one, you have an advantage. Issues include mosture-wicking ability, quietness, sheen, etc.

My preference is whatever MT50 is on sale, regardless of the camo pattern.

One of the best ways to maximize your concealment has little to do with your favorite pattern:
Simply wear a different pattern on your top from your bottom.

I like em both.

I like the Mossy Oak Treestand and the older breakup. The new Infinity doesn't look too bad, at least from the picture I've seen.

I like Realtree's AP.

I really liked the Advantage Classic, but that pattern seems to be hard to find these days.

Mossy Oak seems to dak to me,but I think its not that big of a deal really.Whatever you are confident in,probably works the best for you.I killed a bunch of deer in the old woodland camo, but if I have my choice its Realtree ,with very little green, whichever one that is.

I feel the same way. Too much black. That's fine for early season when there are deep shadows under the leaf canopy, but once the leaves are off the trees, someone wearing mossy oak in a treestand sticks out like a sore thumb. They are a big black blob.

I like Realtree AP when trees still have foilage but then switch to Mossy oak treestand when the leaves fall. It is not as dark as the other mossy oak camos. I also like and wear some of the predator and skyline camo, they seem to break up your outline pretty well. Anyone tried the vertigo? Looks like it would work well if you were silhoutted against the skyline.

And I'll add that I prefer my older, more faded patterns, the further I get into the season with leaves continuing to fall, leaving a more bare, open canopy.

I don't wear it, and I'm not sure that they even make it any more, but if you hunt in a section that has mature white oak trees, the original treebark pattern and color is a perfect match.

Realtree Hardwoods has worked well for me, but the old military
woodland camo worked good for me years ago too. Being still and
being careful with hand and head movement is the real key though.

If I go back even further in years, blue jeans and flannel shirts
worked good too...........as long as you were "still".

Neither one looks that good once everything is brown and the leaves fall off the trees. I'm working on fixing that...lol

I like Mossy Oak! However, they all seem to work well to me. I do have some realtree stuff but I am usually in M.O. Breakup. 3 or 4 years ago I took a realtree shirt and m.o. shirt and hung them up in a tree. I walked out to about 50 yards and looked back at them. To my surprise I really couldn't tell a difference. If I am buying m.o stuff I usually dig around and find one with less black on it. The mossy oak shadow branch is acutally pretty awesome but it's hard to find. But if I was to ever kill a world record buck and Bill Jordan and Toxey Haas wanted to endorse me I'd go with the one who paid the most...:)

my truck covers are Realtree Hardwoods Green...however when i hunt I probably am rocking about 5 different patterns. I liked the 20/200 realtree from back in the day.

Makes no difference to me, whatever is on sale most times. My serious Camo is ASAT and im not sure I own a matching set of camo other than ASAT. Camo is way overrated and what looks good and sales good to the public is what you will see. Why else would there be new versions and patterns out every year? Its all about the money, MOVEMENT is what gets you caught most times not the brand of camo your wearing!

Ain't that the truth! Chuck Adams killed all sorts of big game for years wearing a red and black plaid shirt and blue jeans, that is, until he started getting paid to wear camo! And, up close and personal with a bow! We are all suckers, which I suppose just adds that much more fun to the sport. "This is without a doubt, the best camo pattern that I have ever worn". Bill Jordan. Same quote, every year! I'll bet amongst his friends, he can't believe that all of us would fall for the same old, same old, year after year after year. P.T.Barnam had nothing on us. LOL
