Good to hear, corruption at high levels needs to be addressed even more IMO. Smith & Wesson will get a black eye along with several others on this deal! I wonder if these guys tried to get in without a pass or wasted somebody's time?? lol

Glad the FBI is enforcing the laws, but too bad the federal government doesn't pursue congressional corruption with the same vigor they're pursuing private industry & private citizens.
They could find a lot more "bribery & corruption" within the halls of congress than will ever be at the Shot Show, and worse, congressmen use our tax dollars to pay their bribes. Heck, the unions were just offered a 40% bribe, with our tax dollars, in exchange for union support of the health-care bill.
It's wrong in both cases, but someone tell me how what happens daily in congress is any different than what happened at the Shot Show?

So where was the bribery? They were trying to get a contract? Seems like a political stunt.

Wes, I normally consider you an intelligent person but that comment is just crazy. Any person that is worth millions and takes a job that only pays them $160,000 is a crook. Doesn't matter if they have a D or R behind their name.
If you run the numbers, you will find that corruption in DC has pretty much run evenly through party lines.

Any person that is worth millions and takes a job that only pays them $160,000 is a crook. Doesn't matter if they have a D or R behind their name. I think you meant to say "only pays them $160,000 is NOT a crook."???
Either way, someone who is worth millions and takes a job paying "only $160,000" has nothing to do with being a crook, or not. Some of the biggest crooks in the world don't even have a paying job, while others have mult-million-dollar salaries. By the way, most members of congress have $ coming in from their business interests, and this $160,000 salary is just more like "icing on their cake".
More and more, the real "pay" for being in congress has been coming from the power and backroom deals, often millions.
Doesn't matter if they have a D or R behind their name.
If you run the numbers, you will find that corruption in DC has pretty much run evenly through party lines. I'll agree that both parties have been bad --- how many times have you heard me say I claim neither party and try to view politics as my own indepenant thinker?
More often, we see politicians going to Washington, where they use that position of power as a springboard into all kinds of scams ---- look what Al Gore has done in scamming the world by cooking the books on global warming.
Both the republicans and the democrats have performed their jobs horribly over the past 15 years. But more recently, it has been the democrats who have been far worse than the republicans, and apparently the people in Massachusetts agree.
