That's the oldest buck I've killed. Toothwear indicated a "tweener" with some characteristics of 5 1/2 and some 6 1/2.

If we went by looks we would all be antiquated!  Yep, and I can hear BSK now looking at our photographs: "Can't go by that, or that, but looking at the juncture of the neck and shoulders, this one looks about 35, but the hams suggest 45."Yep, and I have the "hams" of a mature buck!
I guess it's a good thing we don't estimate age based on "racks"!
