I was in Zim for 18 hours. That was just about 17.5 hours too long. They were shooting mortars at the airport in Harrare when we took off. That was 47 years ago.
I have no desire to be in any country when they change the name. If the entire continent implodes it won't bother me a bit.
Andb by the way, there is no such thing as a free hunt in Africa.

Zebra and giraffe neither one on my list of things to kill. You can add elephant on that same list for me. same + monkeys.

I have zero desire to shoot Zebra, Giraffes, Bears, and a few others. I would hunt Elephants and many other african animals however, but only in Africa.

I wouldn't go zebra hunting if you paid my way. The lions might
get pissed.
I would have liked to have gotten to hunt the big Antelope species in Africa before time passed me by KUDU, ELAN, GEMSBUCK, but I would have taken a big rifle like a 30/378 Whetherby and a big 416 or 458 type rifle too in case the lions might get pissed and decide to try to eat me.
