That would be nice. But most guys are going to tell you, You get what you pay for. I think $500 is an Average and Fair annual price on some good hunting property. If I could find one for that much and only an hour or so away, I would jump all over it.

$500 isn't really that bad for one year if you break it down in $/day, especially if it's a decent amount of land or well managed.

It depends on what you're looking for.

If you just want a "club", that means many members controlling a lot of land (usually) and that will cost you more. "Membership has it's priviledges" kinda thing.

If you just want some place to hunt, (without a club and "buddies" to hang out with) you can find just a piece of decent land much cheaper.

$500 is a great price for a well managed property or club!

You'd be suprised whats available around you. Was at the docs mentioned hunting to him and he said come and hunt his land (nobody ever asked) same with an attorney I met. Now I have bunch of land to hunt for free. Try to offer them meat work or anything they just refuse. I say ask around you may be supprised what you find out.

very true also dont count out public land i have lots of private but hunt public as well if you do your homework you can find overlooked public land that hunters either think it will be to crowded (some is not) or access is limited, where i hunt a boat is the only way to get there
