Climbed into the shootin house this morning with high hopes. Around 7 I spotted two does walkin across the far end of the field. After being entertained by them for bout 30 min they dissappeared into the fence row. Around 8 I heard a shot, then another shot in the next property. SO i started lookin in his direction. I only spotted the same two does run back into my field. Then another shot! For the life of me I wanted to hollar out just shoot the deer for cryin out loud! Being a duck hunter rubs off on ya! LoL Luckly I didn't and a few min later the deer started coming out of our woods. Doe after doe after doe. At one time I had 8 in the plot and others still in the field. Pretty good morning I thought. Saw atleast 20 diffrent does.
Came home grabbed a bite and hit the couch! By 2 I was pullin back up at the farm and headed to the stand in the woods. Had to wait til 4 to see anything. Three does walked by, up the ridge and was gone. 15 min later two more came in on the same trail hung out around me for bout 45 min. Another one joined in before they headed to the plot up on the hill. Right at dark I spotted 3 more headed to the plot. I figured it was the first three I saw but who knows. At dark I climbed down with a big smile on my face. Over 30 does cruised by me on my last day of the season. Not a bad day at all! No Bucks but that just means they'll be that much bigger next year.

That was a good day...You have seen in one day as many deer that i have seen in a whole season..I got to adding it up the otherday in the stand..Best i can figure,i've seen about 30 deer this year, counting the 3 I killed, and probably counting some twice.
