Tye-A-Thon Benefit for fly fisher Tiffany Johnson

Chad and Tiffany Johnson are friends and members of the fly fishing community, and they need our help. On the eve of Thanksgiving Tiffany was diagnosed with her fourth brain tumor. On the Monday before Christmas she was operated upon by one of the world’s best neurosurgeons, and while the operation was a success, Tiffany remains partially paralyzed.

Tiffany has a long fight ahead of her to regain her former life, and she and Chad can use our help. Some friends have scheduled a fly tying benefit for January 23rd at the Mountain River Fly Shop in Cotter, Arkansas.

You can help by:

- Donating flies to the raffle – Three identical flies with an ID card, which includes the fly pattern name, and the tier’s name and signature.

- Donate flies to the auction in batches of 6 or12 flies.

- If you live in the area, tie flies on the day of the event, or assist with food.

- Buy raffle tickets from the Mountain River Fly Shop (870-435-6166) $5 a piece or 3 for $10.

- Spread the word. See http://tiffanyjbenefit.wordpress.com/2009/12/27/tye-a-thon-benefit-event-_-january-23/
