as cold as it is these next few days- highs being in the teen- how
do think the deer will move? Do you think they will move normally
in the morning and evening or mainly during the warmest part of the
day?

I think it doesn't matter for the area I'm hunting. It could be minus 20 and I don't think there would be movement. Just wished we had this weather mid Nov.

I kinda wonder if they would stay bedded down during the coldest
part of the day/night to conserve energy, and move when it is the
warmest(like someone would know the difference between 8 degrees
and 14 degrees) part of the day. You have got to figure the deer
have never seen temps this cold in their lives. Thats kind of a
strange thought.

I have not seen much movement any time of day but my leases get pressure on does. I have a friend who has sole hunting rights to a small area and he does not shoot does and he is seeing great deer movement in the evenings. Amazing numbers.

Yep. And they don't burn much energy traveling either.
I just got back from IL and saw deer lay down for hours, get up and walk 50 yds to feed for an hour, and walk right back and lay down. Made it tough to get in the zone with a bow.
They sure did like the sun on their backs too while they were bedded.
