put your trail cams up on escape rpotes on the downwind side of your sanctuary. I realize you NEVER invade your sanctuary, but get on the upwind side of the sanctuary and let your wind/scent push them out for some pics!

Nope. First year I've gone deerless since 1992.
Wow!

Its a -3 degrees out and who knows with the wind chill? Only 3 days left and not sure if I'm going out in this cold. Anyone out there going to try? Call me a wimp but I'm not sure. I live to deer hunt but there has to be a line...
The key word here is "LIVE" Ain't doing much living if you are froze to death.....I would imagine I would have a hard time keeping the gun still.

If I can handle what I've been hunting in the last week in IL (temps -6 to 10 & windchills -25), I can handle this weekend in TN no problem.
Having said that, I will NEVER hunt in those temps again!
I've got pics I took of myself on my cell phone with icicles hanging from my eyelashes.... Ridiculous!

uhh.....nope!
I didn't even see a buck that I would shoot. Saw alot of deer though. Not a single one before 1pm either. Morning hunts were useless.
They fed pretty hard throughout the afternoons. I was surprised not to see an older buck. I guess it takes more than cold temps to get them on their feet in the daylight because there are certainly plenty of them there.
