Back when I was researching all that T.R. Michels anti-carbon stuff (Lawsuit Info.) for magazine articles, I told a buddy about it, and he got pissy because he had spent so much $$$ on Scent Lok. Supposedly, he contacted whomever and joined in the lawsuit as a plaintiff. I'm going to ask him where it all stands.

After reading many hours of info., I'm pretty sure the present carbon technology as it relates to hunting apparel is a complete fraud. On the other hand, I'm not so sure T.R. Michels is playing with a full deck either.

When are people (hunters) going to understand, that you can't
eliminate human scent. If you are exhaling human scented
molucules out of your lungs, you are busted, if the wind ain't
right.

I guess that applies to most hunters that are "human". Even
predator wild animals know to play the wind, before they even
think about making a stalk.

I have noticed a decrease in windings from dee wearing my scent blocker...But I think it could be mostly cause I keep it so scent free, not cause it is blocking my scent...I think if i took any outer layer of close and put them through the ringer I make my scent blocker suit go through, I would become just as "invisable"

I know T.R. pretty well. He is completely nuts. He speaks in tongues- literally. He is also not a very good shot. He put a 12 gauge in his mouth pulled the trigger and couldn't kill himself. he is aligned with that other scent company from MN who are pretty nice guys.

However, that doesn't mean the lawsuit is not valid.

You should read some of T.R.' research material on deer, turkey and elk. He could teach BSK a thing or two if BSK could understan what he said.

This thing is going to get nasty before its over. They have been dragging it out for years but it will soon come to a head. They have pretty much proven without a doubt that the stuff cant be regenerated and it will be the end all for some.

In this economy it'll probably be settled thru the bankrupcy courts and any or all the settlements will not be worth the paper there written on...as usuall, the lawyers will win and go to lunch togeather...

If the stuff doesn't work as claimed. If the company knew it was a fraud. And if thousands of people bought it because of the claim...what is the correct course of action?

I'm not for lawsuits at all. I think tort reform is possibly the best thing that could happen to this nation.

But sounds like this may be the exception, or what lawsuits are actually intended for. If I could have afforded it...I'd have some in my closet too!

No disrepect, but that's hilarious. \:D

It's also true.

I think what this is going to do is change a lot of advertising. It is also going cost a lot of money, maybe even bankrupt some companies. This is not a frivolous lawsuit. The attornies are serious and of course, will be the only ones making any money. But it will make companies think before they claim something. If you say your urine product will attract big bucks...prove it. Let's take it to Cheatham and try it for 15 days.
