Summit in my opinion is much more comfortable and sturdy once up the tree.

I was in the same debate lookin for a good light weight stand but still safe and comfortable... I did a lot of research and went and tried out a new tree walker and I've never looked back... With one whole season down using it I'm more than glad I got it! Not only is it made here in TN but the way the seat system is u don't hang down lower luke with a hanging seat so whether it be bow or rifle shooting everything seems easier becuase u sit up higher but still feels unbelievably safe... I believe they start somewhere near 280 if I remember correctly and it was worth every penny... The stand is bigger and has a built in foot rest but still light weight its the complete stand IMO... And did I mention they are each hand made right here in TN!

Lone Wolfe climber cable sucks. It's too floppy which causes it to want to stick to the tree when try to go up. If you want a light and rigid stand I would highly recommend a timber tall. The one I have weighs @12 lbs.

I love my lonewolf and would not trade it for anything. It's not for the older hunters, but it is more quite and stable than anything else on earth. It will climb small trees. The best bow climber out there.

Lone wolf is a great climber to bow hunt from, light, quiet, and nothing to interfere with any shot angle, much superior to a Summit or API when it comes to bow hunting! And $270 is a good price for a Lone Wolf Climber, their normally $350 or better

i don't think so. summit all the way for me. we have 4 summit climbers, all different models and if i ever have need for another climber, it will also be a summit.

Bought my viper in 2000 and still works fine. I've replaced the cables, but the air bladder seat and back rest still work fine.
