There is no second chance for a dog on hunting ground.

7 of them is quite a pack. Be sure to take out the leaders 1st and then maybe they won't regroup.

wildlife officer here, told us to shoot them!!!......Yes Sir!
IF your were told that by a wildlife officer (and I certainly question that), you were given incorrect information. With the possible exception of a law dealing with dogs and domestic livestock I am not aware of a law on the books that allows you to kill free ranging dogs. There certainly is nothing in the wildlife codes that allows you to do so.
Be aware that if you do so, you are opening yourself up to civil penalties. I am aware of some very expensive dogs that were killed by deer hunters. One cost the deer hunter $10,000.

The $10,000 dog wasn't on the hunters own property.

The local GW told us that hunting dogs are protected by law. He said you must make an effort to notify neighbors that their dogs are causing a problem on your property and give them a chance to either restrain their animals or get them out of the area or you could be subject to civil penalties.

I dont think civil penalties apply if its not a hunting dog and the incident occurs on your own property. Im not advocating dog killing just making sure i read the law correctly.
