I was going to try one more hunt this fri-sun.temps are gonna be 9-12 in the morning this weekend.i am not use to hunting this cold weather.a few years ago when it was really cold we saw no deer early in the morningseemed like they moved in the middle of the day.
Thinking of waiting till 9 or so then going in the woods.I just hate not going at daylight but feel like the deer will move more later in the morning. When has everyonebeen seeing deer lately?

Deer are absolutely hammering our plots late in the day. We have taken 5 good 3-1/2 to 4-1/2yr. olds since the cold snap started. Have seen shooters pretty much every day that I have been in stand (6 times so far this new year).
