Actually there numerous places in E TN with "lots of deer",...its just that they also have an almost zero chance of getting access to them....
As I understand it, TWRA is going to do away with the special season doe permits next year and just have non-quota doe days in those participating counties instead...but it most likely still won't coinsied with the state wide gun hunts...

I have 3 kids one being a baby...your time in the woods sounds like mine. Several times this year i took off work to hunt only to come out of the woods and work at the house because I sat in the woods thinking about what I had to do at the house.

Sometimes I think I just need to out of State then I will not have to worry about what I have to do at the house.

u need to make a move

try going some where else to hunt

some people think that they are bad hunters but actually they hunt bad land

like my self i am not a good hunter i am a proficient killer that hunts land with a lot of deer

good luck to ya
but next year look to expand where you hunt

I worked late the last 2 nights...left work at 4 today and was able to get a tent up in a patch of woods that has not been hunted year. My buddy says he has seen a 7 pt there 2x this week. Do not like hunting out of a tent but it is going to be freaken cold this weekend in Greene County
