I just realized that I think Im more exicted for the upcoming youth hunt than my neice is..LOL We are going out this weekend,gonna shoot the AR,and let her get familar with it,then sight it in with the Winchester 64gr Power Points..I feel really good about this hunt..I do feel pretty confident that I can put her on a Doe..Im pumped,she has never even been on a hunt,but has expressed intrest in it.I wish I would have taken her on the first youth hunt also..But her sorry Daddy won't take her..He's a good dad,but I guess he doesn't think to take his daughter hunting..Anyway,he hasn't killed a deer this year,and he is gonna stroke out when she whacks a big old momma doe with Uncle Cecil next weekend!!

Hope she has good luck, but I hate to see kids start their hunting experience with deer. That is like eating your dessert first. Shooting skills and woodmanship should always be refined with the pursuit of small game like it used to be IMO.
