Here's an even crazier observation. I got pics of a couple of bucks working the heck out of scrapes at New Years. Crazy, crazy, crazy...

I walked in to my hunting spot this past Saturday afternoon along an old logging road that runs through a creek bottom, and 3 of the scrapes that have been there since muzzleloader season were cleaned out and being used. Never seen that before this time of year!

Not only do I have pics of bucks working the scrapes, I have does coming in and sniffing the freshly worked scrapes. Something is going on...

Three years ago I watched a little 6 pter make a new scrape out of the window of my house..... oh yeah, it was in March!!!!
