2009 Kentucky rifle buck

I shot this buck on November 17 in Kentucky during the rifle season. I was hunting over a cut bean field that has thick woods and deep hollows on 3 sides. The temp was in the mid 40's and it had been raining lightly all day. Around 3:30 in the evening I was watching the hollow behind my stand when I saw this buck coming on a steady walk. I didn't have alot of time to make up my mind, but I saw 5 points on each side and that he had decent beams so I made the shot at about 40 yards when he was broadside. After the shot he went about 40 -50 yards and went down. I was shooting a Browning x-bolt in 30-06 using 150 grain Federal Sierra Game Kings. My buck has 14 scoreable points, a 16 2/8 inch inside spread, 20 inch main beams and gross scores 142 4/8 and weighed 200 lbs whole weight (not gutted).I was hunting on our farm on the Christian/Todd county line. This buck was aged at 3 1/2. Sorry about the blurry pic(low battery).

I hunt on the Logan/Todd county line. There are some nice bucks in the area. Great Kill!
