I never thought of having my wife involved in my hobbie.... Just thought about it..... NAHHH I'm afraid she might get a monster and hang it on the wall next to mine... I can see it now... Buddies come over and say "nice buck"... "My wife killed that one"...

She ain't getting up to hunt.
My wife 1) loves sleep too much to hunt in the mornings; 2) hates being cold, so that eliminates much of November and later; and 3) hates being bored, which leaves out almost all treestand time!

How many out there are a Husband and Wife hunting team? I know I'll catch some grief on this but what the heck... Dee and I was just wondering based on some comments we read this morning. By the way I get to hunt alot more....
My wife and i are a hunting team.Works great, we get to hunt when ever and she never complains about the treestand placement. This year we didnt hunt much together because she was pregnant. Best year we ever had, we had our first baby. Next year we will be back at it. She also tournament fishes with me only when deer season is closed.

First Congrats to you both on a new child. It is nice for my wife to hear about other couples. She is without a dought the very best hunting partner I could ever ask for. By far she likes to bow hunt due to the weather and time of year but will rifle hunt as well. Again, Congrats to you both...

Mine used to hunt when she had a heated hunting shack that was only 6 feet off the ground. She doesn't like the cold and won't climb at all. She killed a few and liked it and then just quit.

My wife thinks I'm a lunatic for sitting in a tree all day in the cold. I got her to go with me on a hunting TRIP once. She went shopping while I went hunting, cost me around $500 in shoes and clothes. No thanks.

I'd be willing, but like RDG RNR said, she thinks I'm totally nuts. I am thankful that she encourages me to go, never gets on me when I wake her up or come home late, never gripes about all the time I spend, etc.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were talking about my wife!
I've extended the offer to my wife to go anytime, but she's not interested. Plus, she just doesn't like to see the kill.
But she likes the meat.

I was married quite a long time...she didn't hunt but she would shoot the guns, helped me drag and gut a deer once, helped me clean pheasants and made the best camp venison...still can't get the recipe right. Should have had her write that one down

I don't ever have to worry about my wife going. She doesn't like the cold, she would never be able to kill anything. She does like to go shoot and scout sometimes .

How do ya'll deal with having pee while in the tree stand? BOWdacious took a 20 oz. coke bottle and cut it somehow where she can slide it in her pants, pee in the bottle and it runs out the neck. she will have to explain it further. just imagine my surprise when i walked in the bathroom and she was standing there peeing as she tried it out! uh, honey, you got something to tell me?
:D, Now thats funny...LMAO!!!!
