im eat up with turkeys here at the house and me and the kids could easily limit out right here.id really like to hunt some of the wma's this coming season here in the eastern part of the state since im now physically able.anyone have any suggestions?

Chuck Swan and Oak Ridge are great places, just have to be on priority to get a permit. Now it the time to be applying for spring hunts.

Cherokee, Catoosa, North Cumberland, and several other smaller WMA's have non-quota hunts.

Ahem. Sorry InfoMan... there are NO turkeys on Oak Ridge. I wouldn't advise folks to put in there. ;\)

Seriously though. It takes a couple of points to draw Oak Ridge. It's the only one we put in for. The terrain is not bad at all. Even with your new hip, you shouln't have trouble getting around up there. If you happen to draw it, yell at me and I'll point you in a direction or two.... unless I have the hunt too. \:D
