All,
Well I purchased the R. Enterprise tower deer stand plans. And they are quite helpfull. I recommend to anyone for $12.00 to get started. I just have a couple questions with hunters who have blinds. This will be my first builld this spring, and plan on building 2.

1) The windows on this blind plan are real basic and it is the common wood shutter type. I am looking for a slide window for replacement that is about 36" wide. Any ideas from everyone?

2) These plans do not use elevator brackets. I like to use these to take the guess work out of. Where are the cheapest ones online?

3) Insulation please....Looking for insulation ideas. What is the cheapest but warmest route. I could use that DOW Foam type to keep it clean but it is pretty pricey. Looking for ideas to insulate the whole blind inside.

4) Doors.....These doors are cheap looking and looking for a better door plan or idea to make it last a long time. The doors are used the most so it will not last the soonest.

5) Inside trim. Anyone have ideas on shelves, shhoting platforms and such.

Thanks you all............

you can get plexi glass at home depot and cut it like you want with a razor knife.

Plexiglass and a couple small hinges and you have a super cheap drop down window and they work great. Look at 4'x8' sheets of ridgid soundproofing board to finish your interior. Insulates and darkens the interior, also dampens sound to the outside.

I had a friend build his brackets but I like my idea better. I use 4x4s all the way up. Heavier but can be put together in sections onto the 4x4s. Its heavy but really lasts....or at least its supposed to.
